Landon's Christian Bar Mitzvah

The Teenager!!! Welcome to manhood LANDON!!

Landon turned the big 13!!!! What a fun time was had by all. Scott and Marcie you did such a wonderful job of planning such a great party for your boy. It was such a joy to see the smile on Landon's face. I know it must have been a challenge to plan a bar mitzvah when you are not Jewish. There was not a dry eye in the house after you gave your toast to Landon, Marcie. We are all so proud of your family!! It certainly has not been an easy road for any of you, but look where you are today. You are an inspiration to us all. Thanks for making us realize how valuable life really is and what truly matters.

Baseball Season

The boys have been having a great time playing baseball this year. We are fortunate enough to have them on the same team. Robbie also volunteered to coach and has been having a fun time with his boys. I would have to agree there is nothing better than a summer night at the ballpark. They finish out their season this week with an end of the year tournament.

Just wanted to put a shout out to our team sponsor Bob Smith Motors!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Dayton. I think he just looks like a true little ballplayer.

Coach Robbie rallying his team.

The boys got to play in the majors field this particular day so I think they felt pretty cool in the big guys dugout.

Dawson tries a few practice swings.

Dawson's First Communion

We were all so proud of Dawson!! We can't wait to do it again next year with Dayton.

Dawson with his sponsor Grandma Diane.

In April Dawson was confirmed and had his first communion. He was supported by many family members from both sides of the family. After mass we had a wonderful celebration over at the house.

Spring Break.....Day2

Day 2 in Salt Lake was spent tubing. We drove up to Solider Hollow where the Olympic cross country skiing was and decided to try our luck again at the sport of downhill tubing. I recall last time we went was in Denver and I don't think my arms ever recovered from being yanked on when the tow rope stopped. This was much more enjoyable. They just hook you on and you are on your way. It was an absolutely beautiful day. We practically had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed the music, the sun and wind on our faces and a delicious picnic lunch. Then we headed into town for the Grizzly hockey game. I only managed to get a couple pictures of the hockey game. I am not sure why maybe the $2 beers had something to do with it;)

Mom recovering on the way up after an adventuresome ride down with her daughter.

Grandma Diane was screaming bloody murder the whole way down. Somehow she always ended up going down backwards. Not sure how I captured this photo as I was laughing hysterically.

Grandma Diane and I were in the lane next to these guys going down. I think they might have beat us by a hair.

A few from the top. Grandpa Dave and Dawson heading down together.

Dayton decided he needs to eat a few more vegetables because he didn't quite get the speed going down the hill that Grandpa Dave did.
