Big Town

Ever since I was a little kid I have always looked forward to my trips down to big town. Some of my most favorite memories are the weeks I have spent with my aunt, uncle and cousins down in Denver. Things have not changed very much. I still truly enjoy every minute I get to spend with them and am always looking forward to the next time I will get to see them. Thanks so much guys for being such gracious hosts we had a fabulous time! Terri and Brooke enjoying a drink on the patio despite the rain.
Love this photo of you two!

Crusin the boats around the lake.

Enjoyed our late night visit! Glad we were able to get the camera to work. I love this one too!

Bobby and Bobby!

Dawson's prize catch!

Someday boys, someday.

Happy you guys made it despite the trouble in traffic.

Looking good!

Hockey Camp

For the second year in a row the boys were able to attend hockey camp at Denver University. It was declared more fun than last year by both boys. Robbie even was able to come with us this year. It was a true joy to watch them skate. I think Billings was represented quite well throughout the week.
Dayton practicing his passing.
Looking pretty professional.

coeur d'alene

The boys and I were fortunate enough to tag along with Robbie on a business trip to Coeur d'Alene. I think I would absolutely love, love, love to live on a lake somewhere in Montana. It was so refreshing to wake up to the sunrise on the lake, have a warm cup of coffee and feel a cool breeze blowing off the lake. We were also able to take in a few of the sites around the area. It was fun and relaxing little getaway.
We decided we wanted to be tourists so we stopped at the Silver Dollar Bar along the way for a few refreshments.

The view out of our room.

The famous floating green.

Silverwood Amusement Park.

Dayton didn't want to ride the rollercoasters so he opted for the scrambler instead.

After a long day of fun in the sun Dayton was ready for his feathers.

4th of July

We enjoyed a very relaxing 4th of July. We went to the baseball game in the afternoon and then over to Grandpa and Grandma's house for a nice BBQ and BIG fireworks. Their whole neighborhood really put on quite the show and we can see next year that we need bigger and louder fireworks!
The gracious host and hostess.
Grandpa Dave had a slight problem with the barbeque. Minor details.

Dayton enjoying a nice cold treat at the ball game.

Father's Day

We enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day Sunday! Grandpa Dave and Grandma Diane graciously hosted a wonderful brunch in the morning. We had a wonderful time sipping on champagne and orange juice visiting with all our favorite family members. Later in the afternoon we went golfing with Grandpa Smith and Gayle and ended the day with dinner at the Chop House. Happy Father's Day to all the special fathers in my life. You guys are the BEST!!!

I guess no matter how old you get the box is still the best present you could ever get!

It won't be long until they are all great white fathers. We will always love you no matter how white your hair gets or how much hair you lose everyday!

Bat Boys

The boys were fortunate enough to have the chance to be bat boys for the Scarlets on Friday night. They were very excited and could not wait to get to the ballpark. They got to shag balls during batting practice and even play catch during warm-ups. They are looking forward to the next time they get to do it again.
What pitch is this Dawson? Four-seamer fastball?
Just tall enough to see over the dugout.
